Help & FAQ

Common questions about creating and playing on Froga.

What is Froga?+
Froga is a room-based learning platform. A "room" is an interactive set of questions and study material you can play to test yourself — quizzes, onboarding, practice exams, anything. Anyone can create rooms, group them into learning paths, and share them.
Is Froga free?+
Yes. You can create and play rooms for free within generous limits. A premium plan (higher limits and, later, AI-assisted features) is invite-only for now — there is no paid checkout yet.
Why can’t I create a room yet?+
New accounts unlock room creation after completing a few rooms first — a light step to keep quality up and spam down. Your progress toward unlocking shows on your dashboard. Once unlocked, use “New Room” from the sidebar.
How many rooms can I play per day?+
Free accounts can play up to 5 rooms a day; finishing all 5 unlocks 5 more (up to 10). The limit resets at midnight UTC. Resuming a room you already started, or replaying one, doesn’t count against it.
What are learning paths?+
A learning path is an ordered sequence of rooms — a mini-course. Paths under “From Froga” are official and curated; the rest are made by the community. You can track how many rooms in a path you’ve completed.
Can I control who sees my room?+
Yes. Each room is public (listed on Explore), unlisted (only reachable with the link), or private (only you). You set this when creating or editing a room.
Can I copy someone else’s room and change it?+
Yes, if the creator has left copying on. Open the room, choose Options and then Make a copy: you get your own private copy of every question, yours to edit, and the original creator stays credited on it. The copy counts towards your room limit and starts private, so you decide if and when to publish it.
Can I stop other people copying my room?+
Yes. Each room has a “Let others copy this room” setting you can turn off, which hides the copy button. It cannot stop someone retyping your questions by hand, so treat anything you publish as something others can reproduce.
What is “mistake review”?+
When you finish a room with some wrong answers, Froga offers an optional step to re-try just those questions as practice. It’s for learning — your review answers don’t change the score that was recorded on your first attempt.
What do the badges next to some creators mean?+
A “Froga Staff” or “Moderator” badge marks members of the Froga team or trusted community curators. It’s a trust signal for official content — regular creators don’t have one.
How do I report a room?+
Open a room and use the “⋯” options menu to report it (for spam, wrong answers, inappropriate content, and so on). Reports go to the moderation team for review.
Who can see my activity?+
Your public profile shows rooms you’ve created and your solving activity — that’s intentional, so your track record is shareable. You can hide your name and avatar from creators’ room analytics with the “Show my name to creators” toggle in profile settings.

Still need help?

Froga is built by a small team. For issues with a specific room, the fastest path is the in-room report button. For anything else, reach out at [email protected].
